BRIAN KATZ
With over 15 years experience developing and implementing cutting-edge integrated marketing and advertising campaigns, BRIAN KATZ is a career communications professional who cites seeing Style Wars originally air on PBS and the rich history of New York City hip hop and graffiti as his primary influences. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in History from CUNY Hunter College in 1999 and relocating to Los Angeles in 2004, he earned his master’s degree at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication, with a concentration on emerging media and marketing at the advent of Social Media. Brian has spent the last 15 years at the forefront of digital, social and content marketing, working at agencies such as M80, Weber Shandwick, WME, and Vayner Media on behalf of some of the world’s largest brands and entertainment properties. He currently serves as Account Director at Telescope, working at the intersection of content and audiences to find innovative ways to deliver interactive and engaging social experiences. He continues to actively document the New York City “Clean Train” graffiti movement on social media and is an avid collector and purveyor of rare and out of print graffiti books worldwide.
